Crisis Response and Prevention Initiative

Twilio is committing our technology, funding, and time to help organizations change lives in the moment of crisis and prevent crises from happening in the first place.

“Our vision is that one day everyone who is at risk will get the help they need right when they need it.”

—Erin Reilly, Twilio Chief Social Impact Officer

Crisis and trauma don’t discriminate. Around the world, people experiencing violence or struggling with suicidal thoughts need help to move toward stability.

Through helplines, online chat, and text messages, communication is a lifeline. A human connection can mean the difference between hope and despair.

The Crisis Response and Prevention Initiative seeks to ensure that everyone in crisis gets the help they need right when they need it. The initiative brings together technology, funding, and people to support organizations working in the following areas of crisis response:

· Sexual assault
· Abuse
· Suicide prevention and mental health
· Substance abuse
· Natural disasters
